Job Description: Assistant Project Manager, London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

At Telent, we empower our people to lead projects that keep the UK’s essential infrastructure connected and protected 24/7. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of critical systems such as CCTV, PA/VA, and other systems that ensure London's safety and efficiency.

This hybrid role offers flexibility to work remotely with two days per week at our Canning Town office.

What You’ll Do:
  • Support end-to-end delivery of Minor Works projects for TfL, including CCTV, PA/VA, and other systems
  • Prepare cost estimates and quotes for new projects
  • Assist with project mobilisation plans and track milestones
  • Monitor project finances and performance
  • Coordinate daily activities of project teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with client and Telent QEHS standards
  • Contribute to monthly contract reviews
Who You Are:

A proactive, organized professional with experience in project coordination or management, preferably within infrastructure sectors. You communicate clearly, work well with stakeholders, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience in Rail, Telecoms, Construction, or Utilities projects
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Knowledge of QEHS standards
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Experience with TfL or London Underground projects is highly desirable
  • Working towards APM/PRINCE2 certification is a plus
