King's College London is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - MAC Specialist to oversee Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) projects. King's has five campuses in central London, comprising over 100 buildings ranging from the 1780s to the present day. Many are listed and of significant architectural importance. The campuses feature diverse spaces including teaching and learning environments, cutting-edge research facilities, chapels, cafes and restaurants, gyms, and student residences.
The Assistant Project Manager - MAC Specialist will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and executing Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) projects across King's College London. This role supports the Project Manager in maintaining high standards of service delivery and compliance with health, safety, and accessibility standards. The successful candidate will ensure MAC activities are conducted efficiently, minimizing disruptions and promoting operational agility.
You will collaborate with the Asset Management and Engineering Directorate to deliver MAC programs, ranging from small minor works to complex, high-value technical projects. Your work will aim to improve the estate for our community, creating inspiring environments that support learning and research, while respecting our heritage buildings.
Your tasks will include preparing documentation for meetings, tracking task completion, ensuring staff are aware of deadlines, and maintaining the campus project master program with high-quality reporting.
To succeed in this role, candidates should have the following skills and experience:
Desirable criteria include interest in project management frameworks, understanding of safety and compliance standards, sustainability goals, signage and space planning principles, and relevant qualifications in strategy, project management, or risk management.
