Job description

FAT Karting League’s mission is to achieve mass participation in motorsport by radically reducing the barriers to entry.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our team as we scale internationally. This role is critical in ensuring our projects run smoothly and deadlines are met. You will support the Programme Manager in development of strong process as we drive a culture of Project Management across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update project timelines, budgets and task lists.
  • Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for deliverables against project milestones.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and partners to further project delivery.
  • Identify and resolve potential roadblocks to keep projects on track.
  • Support cross-functional teams in executing project tasks efficiently.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Contribute to process improvements and codification of best practices.
  • Assist Programme Manager in the delivery of strategic targets
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planner).
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail and ability to track complex workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of tasks.
  • Degree from a top university preferred.
  • Must be willing to travel both in the UK and internationally.
