We’ll inspire and empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed - today and into tomorrow. We offer an exciting range of opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team who always strive to do the right thing for our people, clients, and communities.

We also give back to our communities through our Collectively program which incorporates matched-funding, paid volunteering time, and charitable donations.

About the Opportunity

Nuclear Power Programmes are delivering client-critical works to some of our major UK and European Projects. Our embedded teams support Hinkley Point C (a new build power station in the South West), Sizewell C (located in the South East), help develop SMR (Small Modular Reactor) technology, and work towards building Poland's first Nuclear Power station.

Working in both client-facing and internal roles, we deliver major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle. We aim to deliver safe, high-quality, and timely solutions through innovative thinking and collaboration.

The Hinkley Point C Equipment Programme is responsible for delivering the mechanical, electrical, and process equipment that will form the power station. Contracts range from £250k to £150m and involve collaboration with NNB’s global supply chain. Design is completed by the EDF Responsible Designer, with detailed design by the equipment supplier.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading/supporting tasks to support the Project Manager’s delivery of the HPC project and contract scope.
  • Supporting contract administration activities, including variations, claims, technical queries, and instructions, using CEMAR.
  • Interfacing with key teams to support project delivery scope for HPC.
  • Supporting compliance with procedures and developing stakeholder relationships.
  • Supporting technical work streams to ensure timely and within-budget completion, managing responses to Technical Queries.
  • Contributing to weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Maintaining Project Definition Document updates.
  • Implementing strategies aligned with Programme Definition Document (PgDD).
  • Maintaining configuration control of Works Information.

Ideal candidates will have a track record of delivering complex projects safely and responsibly, preferably within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environments. Strong management skills, experience managing contractors, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. A degree and chartered status in a related field, along with knowledge of project management frameworks like APM and Prince 2, are required.
