Job summary

NUVIA is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and delivery of projects within the STEP fusion programme. You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to ensure objectives, timescales, budgets and quality targets are met.

You will coordinate communications with stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams, support schedules, costs and risk management, and assist with tendering and bid activities while contributing to governance and project

Qualifications

• Engineering, Project Management or Business Management qualification or equivalent.
• Working towards or holding a recognised PM qualification (APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP).
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project financial management principles.
• Experience in project, engineering, construction or programme delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of projects across all lifecycle phases from definition to commissioning.
• Assist mobilisation and start-up activities of project teams.
• Help develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and forecasts.
• Assist procurement activities and supplier engagement.
• Produce project reports, dashboards and management information for stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify, assess and maintain project risks and opportunities.
• Support tender submissions, cost estimates and delivery plans.
