Job summary

WES, part of the RSE Group, is recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to join us in Pontyclun. You will support delivery from handover to completion, coordinating technical, commercial and operational activities while keeping clients and internal stakeholders informed to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Based in the UK, this role offers a pathway to develop project management skills within MEICA engineering, with responsibilities spanning planning, cost control

Qualifications

• HNC, HND, BEng or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in an engineering, project, technical or supervisory environment.
• Good time management and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across stakeholders.
• Driven, proactive and able to work independently and in a team.
• UK Driving Licence held.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning to meet client installation and delivery dates.
• Coordinate review of project design information and schedules for performance.
• Support cost and budget monitoring to protect margins.
• Assist with procurement to balance cost and quality.
• Support change and variation management and contract administration.
• Ensure alignment with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate documents for workshop manufacture and assembly.
• Assist with client and WES stakeholder communications and progress updates.
• Support planning for site installation activities and commissioning.
• Contribute to contract compliance activities including payment applications and notices.
