Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join the project management team in Solihull, West Midlands. You will support the PM team to deliver commercial office projects for central government across a five-year programme, collaborating with blue chip clients and government bodies.

You will assist with day-to-day project delivery, build client relationships, develop documentation and reporting, attend and chair meetings, and produce stage-specific reports while

Qualifications

• Construction project management experience is essential.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Degree in a construction related subject is desirable.
• Experience delivering presentations.
• Experience on JCT and NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication skills with senior professionals.
• Experience in report writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day delivery of projects.
• Build relationships with clients.
• Develop project documentation and reporting.
• Attend, chair and record meetings as appropriate.
• Produce reports at relevant project stages.
• Identify and develop innovative client solutions.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare PM reports and logs.
• Monitor and report on contractor progress on site.
• Support business development and existing client relationships.
