What you will do

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Project Manager to oversee and aid in the day-to-day management of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires exceptional project and programme management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Project Delivery: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting the highest quality standards.
  • Project Management: Provide exceptional project and programme management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to monitoring and closure.
  • Client Support: Assist clients in managing project costs, schedules, risks, and issues, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Reporting: Contribute to monthly reports, providing clear and concise updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Communication: Develop and utilise effective communication tools to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Continuous Improvement: Challenge existing processes and strive for continuous improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

  • Qualifications: Progress towards a Project Management Qualification (APM, RICS, or similar) is essential.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience with best practice Project Management techniques and methodologies.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of pre- and post-contract Project Management responsibilities, including planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Skills: Strong ability to manage projects from initiation to completion, with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Client Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
