Murphy is recruiting for an Assistant Project Manager to work with the Energy Team on the National Grid, Yorkshire Green Project.

We deliver Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects for both regulated and private customers, along with technical and engineering solutions within conventional power and energy transition markets. A day in the life of a Murphy Assistant Project Manager:

1. Accountable for project delivery, ensuring safety, timeliness, contractual compliance, and budget adherence alongside the Project Manager.
2. Ensure project requirements are identified and met.
3. Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
4. Plan, review, and deliver contract programmes.
5. Manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and Section Managers.
6. Maintain effective client relationships, collaborate with stakeholders, and provide project updates.
7. Create, implement, and review risk assessments.
8. Ensure operating plans include sufficient resources and materials.
9. Resolve operational issues, escalating critical matters to the Project Director as needed.
