A growing manpower solutions company in Tonbridge is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project delivery in Rail Structures. Responsibilities include coordination, client management, and HSQE compliance. Ideal candidates have project management experience and are educated to HND/HNC level. Salary ranges from £30k to £42k, with 20 days annual leave plus holidays.
CRS are looking for an Assistant Project Manager, working within a project delivery team, primarily based in Tonbridge, Kent & delivering a Southern based Rail Structures portfolio. This role is interviewing ASAP, aiming for a quick start, following a successful interview process.

Hours - Full time, some varied shifts due to nature of projects

About the role
We're seeking a proactive, detail-focused individual to help ensure the successful delivery of projects through all phases-meeting deadlines, staying within budget, and upholding the highest quality standards. In this role, you'll be instrumental in promoting safety and environmental responsibility throughout each stage of the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include working closely with the project delivery team monitoring project progress and reporting against key milestones using established tools and processes. You'll contribute to the development and upkeep of support systems that enable the Project Manager to handle change efficiently and with confidence.
A key part of your role will involve managing contractor possession and isolation applications, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. You'll also track contractor performance and prepare regular progress reports, helping keep projects on schedule and stakeholders informed.
Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) compliance will be a core focus. You'll assist in maintaining a safe work environment, conducting risk assessments, and verifying that contractors meet all HSQE requirements. Your attention to detail will ensure both general and site-specific work methods are thoroughly documented and delivered as scheduled.
