The Assistant Project Manager role in Reading supports delivery of wastewater network planned intervention programmes, covering sewer rehabilitation, interceptor removals and low complexity excavation repairs. Working full time, the postholder helps the Engineering Project Manager and wider Engineering Solutions team manage civil engineering interventions safely and efficiently, meeting programme, cost, quality, regulatory and stakeholder requirements.
Duties include coordinating day-to-day progress, reducing blockages, pollution and flooding, and maintaining accurate records. Applicants should demonstrate strong organisation, communication and problem-solving abilities, with an understanding of civil engineering or utilities work.
The salary ranges from £39,455 to £50,000, dependent on skills and experience.
