Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Compensation: £43,935 + Benefits

The role

As an Assistant Project Manager,you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be working to help manage the lead design consultant for a critical civils design package.

Day-to-day, you will manage the delivery security systems designs and work with users and other stakeholders to ensure that the integrated facility provides the sustainment capability. You’ll also:

  • Work heavily with the contract – using NEC4 and CEMAR.
  • Supporting the delivery of schedule, scope, contractual, financial and risk management functions.
  • Assisting the technical and project team in development of requirements, project scope and solutions for specific work packages.
  • Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control of work packages.
  • Develop Stakeholder management and communications plans.

This role is full time working 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangement with some days in the office/onsite and some days working from home.

Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager

  • Project management background
  • Knowledge of Physical Security principles would be an advantage
  • NEC4, CEMAR, Autodesk (CDE/Vault)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Electrical engineering background preferred

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager

  • A Bachelors or Master’s Degree.
  • APM an advantage
