Job description

Are you a passionate, skilled, and versatile Assistant Project Manager with a strong background in construction or refurbishment work? We are offering an opportunity to join our Works Department in a site-based role near Okehampton, EX20 2DA. This initial twelve-month project provides an exciting opportunity in a dynamic construction environment, with potential for ongoing employment depending on future contracts and performance. Job Details
  • This is a full-time position with 42 hours per week, involving daily travel and working away as necessary.
  • Working hours: 07:45 to 17:15 from Monday to Thursday, and 07:45 to 16:45 on Fridays.
Requirements
  • Construction-related qualification (e.g., HNC/HND or trade qualification).
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS or SSSTS).
  • GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English Language, Literacy, and Numeracy.
  • Proven recent experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Supervisor in a construction environment.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with a range of IT packages.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and with a positive attitude.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to undertake training and personal development.
Additional Information

All employees are required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check, including checks against the Children's and Adults' Barred List. You may also be subject to additional vetting checks during employment, in accordance with client requirements and regulations.
