Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Manchester / Leeds
Salary -Up to £50,000 + Car Allowance + market leading bonus including guaranteed bonus

About the Role:
Capstone are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Project Manager to join a dynamic new team based in Manchester/Leeds. This role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, commercial and industrial developments.

Projects:

• Office developments across 3 blocks with a combined development value of approximately £350m (including 2 residential and 1 office block)
• Student accommodation scheme in York
• Three tower blocks in Birmingham
• Smaller industrial sheds
• High-rise residential schemes with commercial mixed-use elements
• Typical project lifecycles of 5-7 years

Team Structure:

• New team initially formed to focus on logistics but also delivering residential and commercial projects

Key Responsibilities:

• Support project management team in the delivery of projects from inception through to completion
• Assist in coordinating project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Monitor progress and report regularly to senior team members and clients
• Help manage communications between internal teams, clients, contractors, and consultants
• Contribute to risk and issue management processes
• Prepare project documentation and support contract administration activities
• Assist with site visits and stakeholder engagement as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience or background in project management, preferably in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Ambitious and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Ideally experience or interest in logistics, life sciences, or mixed-use developments
• Degree or relevant qualification in construction, property, or project management advantageous but not essential
