The Role
Were looking for an organised Assistant Project Manager to join our team and take charge of quoting for both ourmaintenance divisionandlarger works projects. Youll be producing ahigh volume of quotes, sourcing materials, and helping make sure jobs are profitable and well-run. Youll also play a key role inimproving our current quoting systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes for maintenance jobs and larger refurbishment projects.
- Review and improve our existing quoting process and documentation.
- Source and order materials at the best value.
- Monitor costs and margins on ongoing projects.
- Liaise with clients and the internal team to clarify job scopes and manage expectations.
- Handle contract documentation, terms, and agreements in line with legal and commercial standards.
- Assist in resolving any pricing-related or contractual disputes quickly and professionally.
- Provide variations, valuations, and support with payment applications.

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience as a Assistant Project Manager (maintenance, refurb, or construction background).
- Comfortable handling a high volume of estimates with strong attention to detail.
- Confident improving systems and ways of working.
- Strong commercial understanding and good negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication written, spoken, and with clients.
- Comfortable using Excel and/or estimating software.
