Job summary

AWE is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to deliver low risk, low complexity tasks within a formal project environment, under the guidance of a project manager, contributing to successful project completion.

Location at Coulport near Helensburgh, with Monday to Thursday core hours and a salary band of £40,000 to £50,000. The role offers development opportunities, governance duties, and a broad range of benefits designed to support wellbeing and career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned tasks in accordance with requirements, operational constraints, time, cost and quality.
  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
  • Undertake tasks for Governance (compliance and reporting).
  • Task management of project resources (people, money).
  • Support the planning of the task/project.
  • Deliver work as defined in the Work Authorisation Document (WAD).
  • Support and initiate change against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
  • Support, initiate and perform risk and opportunity identification and subsequent actions.
  • The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.

Assistant Project Manager

Location: Coulport, near Helensburgh (Scotland - 20 minutes north of Helensburgh)

Package: £40,000-£50,000 (Dependant on experience and suitability for the role)

Working pattern: Monday - Thursday (core hours)

As the Assistant Project Manager, you'll deliver low risk, low complexity tasks/work packages within a formal project environment to contribute towards successful completion of projects, under the control of a project manager or senior project manager, compliant with AWE processes.
