Job description

Assistant Project Manager High-End Residential (Ongoing Contract)

Location:Split between head office (SW14) and multiple sites (primarily Central London - Kensington)

Rate:£180 per day

Working Hours:Typically 07:45 AM 05:00 PM (subject to project needs)

Travel:Required (via public transport or personal vehicle); valid driving license essential

Experience & Qualifications

  • Project Management or Construction qualifications
  • Background in property/construction, ideally within prime residential projects

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle enquiries for small works
  • Conduct site visits, assess requirements, and prepare pricing
  • Present costs and project variations to clients
  • Manage invoicing and procurement of materials, labour, and subcontractors
  • Gather design details and client approvals to facilitate project completion
  • Develop construction issue programmes and monitor site progress
  • Provide weekly progress reports to directors and leadership
  • Plan and allocate company labour, maintaining the Holt contract planner
  • Oversee the supply chain, ensuring alignment with critical path objectives
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain RFI, CVI, and IRS records
  • Coordinate subcontractors and liaise with clients, design teams, building control, structural engineers, and consultants
  • Arrange necessary permits and licenses via head office
  • Oversee client handover and compile operation & maintenance manuals
