The role

As anAssistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You'll support and manage a diverse range of projects across all stages of the lifecycle.

Day-to-day, you’ll

  • Deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.
  • Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial and schedule estimates to ensure the project is accurately planned and reported
  • Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources.
  • Apply the Business Management System (BMS) appropriately for the project and produce and communicate project-reporting data on Project Controls and Finance systems.
  • Undertake aspects of stakeholder management and communications activities are required and support development of stakeholder management plans.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week providing hybrid working arrangements with 3days in the office and 2 days working from home, based in Warrington.

Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager:

  • Experience working within a project environment.
  • Previously involved in cost analysis and the development of project schedules.

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
  • Holds the APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ, formerly APMP) and actively working towards Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status.
