Assistant Project Manager – Role Overview

You will support project delivery and ensure the smooth operation of project tools, systems, and records, as well as assist in other project management areas.

You will collaborate across teams to support stakeholder engagement, daily operations, and project activities. This role offers an excellent chance to further develop your project delivery skills through regular interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Assistant Project Manager – Key Responsibilities

  • Support management in developing and delivering operational objectives.
  • Manage daily and weekly data tasks, including updating databases, generating reports, and maintaining governance logs.
  • Update and maintain the project SharePoint site, templates, and key documents.
  • Communicate regularly with Business Operations to monitor project performance.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and communications.
  • Ensure equipment is issued and accounted for across the project.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project goals, responding to project needs.
  • Provide logistical and secretariat support for meetings, ensuring effective governance and detailed records of decisions.
  • Willingness to attend inspections to observe and learn the NCA (Net Capacity Assessment) methodology.
