Job DescriptionJob Description

We are hiring a proactive, organized Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support planning, coordination, and execution of installation projects. You'll run smaller jobs end-to-end, handle project scheduling and billing, and support the Project Manager on larger installs.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in construction coordination, service operations, or project support who wants to grow into full project management or estimating. You'll be a key part of a growing team that values clarity, accountability, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run small-to-medium install projects from kickoff to closeout
  • Coordinate job schedules with field crews, subcontractors, and customers
  • Prepare project invoices and progress billing using NetSuite
  • Manage project admin tasks: submittals, COIs, permits, internal files
  • Communicate with clients on schedule, updates, and any required follow-up
  • Support the PM on larger projects with logistics, updates, and documentation
  • Contribute to process improvement and team efficiency over time
  • Estimate costs for installation projects

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, field operations, service dispatch, or construction admin
  • Familiarity with project workflows, trades, or equipment installation is a strong plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Excel and project tools (Oracle/NetSuite/other ERP experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication and follow-through - internal and external
  • Self-starter who is able to perform tasks with little supervision and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to learn estimating

What We Offer

  • Base salary: $60,000-$75,000/year
  • 401(k)
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
  • Career path toward full Project Manager or Estimator roles
  • Hands-on training and exposure to projects across public, fleet, and dealership sectors
  • A grounded, growing company with long-standing client relationships
