A leading specialist Project Management Consultancy is actively recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to be based in Birmingham.

THE COMPANY

The client is one of the leading independent Consultancies in the Midlands with a network of offices across the region. They have a great reputation in the market and are working on some of the region's highest profile developments. Projects can range from Public to Private sector and include Residential, Commercial, Regeneration, Retail, Education, and Health. They are also on a number of regional frameworks, providing a high level of job security. Project values currently range from GBP 500k to GBP 100 million, offering a fantastic range and size of projects.

THE POSITION

They are actively looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to be involved in projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will receive excellent training and development opportunities and will work alongside experienced professionals. Projects will span multiple sectors and values, providing an excellent opportunity to learn and progress within a reputable consultancy environment.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate must:

• Have a construction-related degree
• Have some industry experience as a Project Manager, Building Surveyor, or Quantity Surveyor (ideally from a consultancy background, but open to other backgrounds)
• Possess a great attitude and work ethic
• Have good communication and client-facing skills
