Job description

  • Working week - Monday - Friday. Monday - Thursday 08.30 - 17.00 Friday 08.30- 16.30
  • Total hours per week: 40.0
  • Apprenticeship level - Advanced Level 3 (A level)

What will the apprentice be doing?
  • Assisting the team with key project issues as directed by the Line Manager.
  • Assisting the Project Engineering team in reporting to the client.
  • Assisting the Project Engineering team in the management of all stakeholders.
  • Conducting site inspections with the Engineering team and adopting authority.
  • Performing cost analysis to monitor costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Working under close supervision to achieve time, cost & quality in all assignments.
  • Liaising with various adopting authorities and pursuing adoption certification from these authorities.
  • On-site supervision of site works, including managing the on-site team.
  • Being flexible where possible in role & team contribution.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
  • Civil Engineering Level 3 Apprenticeship
  • One day studying and the rest of the week at the workplace
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
  • Further progression to Level 4 Apprenticeship – promotion to Project Engineer
