Position Title: Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Computer Science

Employment Type: Full Time, Faculty, Exempt

Reports To: Chair of the Computer Science Department

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, mainly in cybersecurity and data science, with additional interest in core courses such as computer architecture, assembly language, and programming languages. Teaching may include day, evening, undergraduate, graduate, and online classes.
  2. Prepare syllabi, develop new courses, instruct students, and provide feedback and grades.
  3. Mentor students, serve on department committees, assist with department and community projects.
  4. Engage in scholarly research, publish in conferences and journals, and perform consulting activities.
Qualifications
  1. PhD in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
  2. Teaching experience.
  3. Active research with recent publications in computer science.
