Job Description:

The Role

Our company has grown significantly over the last few years, and with our continued success, we are planning further expansion. Due to this growth, we are looking for a passionate, dynamic individual who is driven and would love to join our fast-paced team.

Our Assistant Production Managers are an integral part of our production workshops. The main purpose of this role is:

• Manage workshop productivity and ensure the site completes the required units
• Be the sole contact point for customers once vehicles arrive, providing updates throughout the repair process
• Be responsible for the overall cost of sale
• Ensure the quality of vehicle repairs is of the highest standard
• Handle complaints efficiently and contain them internally
• Uphold the company's culture and ethos
• Proactively upload parts to iimage and communicate with the Parts department on timelines
• Communicate effectively with production operatives for a streamlined process

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally, check in vehicles, hand over courtesy cars, and complete necessary documentation
• Map vehicle repairs with workshop assistance, aiming to reduce influence (COS)
• Discuss repairs with customers, set expectations, and advise on ECD; listen to customer requirements and concerns
• Coordinate with the Office CLM to meet customer expectations and preferred communication methods
• Create an iimage job card and follow parts ordering procedures
• Ensure all invoices are uploaded correctly onto iimage
• Update customers throughout the process
• Monitor progress and advise customers of any changes immediately
• Collect customer excess payments and record all accounting paperwork accurately
• Conduct final quality checks
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive workshop documentation
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (Health and Safety, COSHH, etc.)
