Job summary

b3 jobs ltd is seeking an Assistant Product Technologist in Kent to join an energetic food product development team. You will ensure products are designed, developed, and manufactured to technical, quality, and regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Senior Product Technologist, you’ll support the development process, conduct quality assessments, and conduct factory visits to verify product compliance. This maternity cover role runs September 2026 to January 2028 with a strong team focus.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar role in the food manufacturing industry.
• Degree-educated in a relevant subject is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Set up product data in ERP systems and maintain line sheets.
• Visit the factory daily to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Support development from launch to post-launch troubleshooting.
