Job summary

HSL Chairs, based in Batley, seeks an enthusiastic Assistant Product Manager to join our Product team and help bring new products to market. You will work closely with the Head of Product across market research, pricing, launches and supplier management to ensure successful rollouts that meet customer needs.

You’ll analyze sales data, coordinate pricing, and maintain accurate product information while supporting cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in product, merchandising, buying, marketing or similar commercial role
• Strong Excel and Office skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with planning or task management tools is advantageous
• Comfortable using AI and digital tools to support research and productivity
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel across the UK when required

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of new product launches from concept to store
• Analyse competitor activity, market trends and sales data
• Build relationships with suppliers, retail teams, Marketing and Merchandising
• Coordinate pricing updates, product setup and launch plans
• Manage product information and marketing materials accuracy
• Visit stores to gather customer and product insights
• Assist with store openings, refits and new range rollouts
• Help with product photoshoots, trade shows and supplier reviews
• Create product guides and launch documentation for store teams
• Keep projects on track, on budget and on timelines
