An established consortium in the UK is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to enhance their procurement team. Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement or a similar role, ready to progress.
  • Experience with public sector regulations (PCR 2015/Procurement Act).

  • Support framework mini-competitions, direct contract awards, and DPS tenders.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant and meet the needs of members and public regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Manager on new contracts.

Sector: Housing / Public Sector

Location: Birmingham / Hybrid

Salary & Package: £40,000 + 25 days holiday (increasing to 30) + private healthcare + an additional strong benefits package!

Key Responsibilities

  • Support framework mini-competitions, direct contract awards, and DPS tenders
  • Ensure contracts are compliant and meet the needs of members and public regulations
  • Collaborate with the Procurement Manager on new contracts, mini-competitions, and direct awards
  • Develop relationships with internal colleagues and external clients

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience in procurement or a similar role, ready to progress
  • Knowledge of DPS, e-procurement platforms, and frameworks
  • Experience with public sector regulations (PCR 2015/Procurement Act)
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong work ethic; ability to manage multiple priorities
