Job description

We are the final stage for complaints about the NHS in England and public services delivered by the UK Government. We look into complaints where someone believes there has been injustice or hardship because an organisation has not acted properly or fairly or has given a poor service and not put things right.

About the role

We are looking for a driven individual to work as part of a small and dynamic team to provide support to our Chair. The post holder will work in a fast-moving office at the top of the organisation, with responsibility to co-ordinate and progress the Chair’s priorities as well as provide personal administrative support.

The Assistant Private Secretary will be responsible for influencing senior internal and external stakeholders, drafting and approving communications, and showing initiative to solve complex organizational problems. They will also manage a busy diary, record minutes and action points, and prepare papers for meetings.
