Job summary

Consilium Evolve is seeking an experienced Assistant Principal and SENDCo to lead the school’s SEND provision and to drive therapeutic, trauma-informed practice across the whole organisation.

You will work with students, families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning, develop staff, and shape a compassionate, evidence-informed provision that enables every student to thrive.

Qualifications

• Experienced SENDCo with National Award for SEN Coordination and a strong understanding of trauma-informed relational practice.
• Able to inspire and develop staff while championing inclusion and student wellbeing.
• Committed to removing barriers to learning and ensuring every student can achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead whole-school SEND provision and drive evidence-informed therapeutic practice.
• Shape the strategic development of the provision and collaboration with families, therapists and external agencies.
• Work with students to ensure outstanding outcomes for vulnerable learners.
• Support and develop staff to sustain an inclusive, high-expectation culture.
