Job summary

Delta Academies Trust’s Goldthorpe Primary Academy is seeking an Assistant Principal to join our senior leadership on a full‑time, temporary basis. You will deputise for the Head of Academy, support the Head, Executive Principal and AAB members, and lead teaching excellence while monitoring inclusion and pupil achievement.

You will also provide financial management support, ensuring sound procedures and timely reports to the central Delta finance team.

Qualifications

• Senior Leadership Team role deputising for the Head of Academy.
• Provide proactive financial management support and timely reports to Delta central finance.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Head of Academy when required and support executive leadership to ensure effective academy operations.
• Lead teaching excellence and monitor provision, inclusion and pupil achievement across the academy.
