Harmony Fire Ltd. in Yeovil seeks an Assistant Pre-Construction Manager to support tenders, pricing and pre-construction activity across our South West portfolio.

You will work under the Pre-Construction Manager to turn enquiries into winning proposals for building fabric works including fire doors and passive fire protection. We value numerate, organised professionals who can carry out take-offs, quantify from drawings, and coordinate with supply chain and internal teams to ensure accurate bids

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-construction, estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial support role within building fabric, passive fire, construction, or related discipline.
• Ability to carry out accurate take-offs and quantification from drawings and specifications.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; able to work with pricing data and tender documents.
• Highly organised with attention to detail; manage multiple bids and meet deadlines.
• Good communication with clients, supply chain, and internal teams.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support Pre-Construction Manager in tenders, quotations, and pricing submissions for building fabric and passive fire protection works across the South West.
• Carry out take-offs and material quantification from drawings, specifications, and survey information.
• Prepare method statements, programmes, and supporting documentation for tender submissions.
• Liaise with supply chain, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and technical information.
• Maintain the pre-construction tracker with live enquiries and deadlines.
• Support site surveys and pre-construction visits.
• Assist with handover of won projects to delivery team.
