Job description

University Hospital Wishaw

The Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Practitioner to join the Speech and Language Therapy (Adult Service) team at University Hospital Wishaw.

The successful candidate will implement therapy programmes under the supervision of the Speech and Language Therapist across various locations and client groups.

Note: Duties and locations may vary based on the client group, service demands, and experience level.

Contract Details

Band 4 / Permanent / Part Time / 18.5 hours

Working on Monday and Friday (hours to be agreed between 8am - 5pm)

Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Membership of RCSLT
  • LSVT Certification
  • Experience working with adults with neurological difficulties
  • Experience with Videofluoroscopy Clinic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of AAC & Boardmaker
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
