We seek motivated assistant practitioners to join our team at the West of Scotland Breast Screening Service. The service offers mammography screening to 300,000 women on a three-year cycle, either at the static centre or on mobile units. About 4-5% of women screened are invited for further assessment at review clinics in Glasgow. The geographical area includes Greater Glasgow, Argyll and Clyde, Lanarkshire, and West Forth Valley Health Boards.
Diagnostic imaging equipment is used for mammography screening, with results sent to women and their GPs.
