An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new and innovative role as an Assistant Practitioner, Band 4, to work alongside the Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist Team based at Ysbyty Gwynedd.
The post holder will work as part the Head and Neck Team, supporting and delivering evidence based high quality clinical care that focuses on the direct needs of the patient. The post holder will work under the direction and support of a Head and Neck Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to implement the Head and Neck Delivery Plan for patients with Head and Neck issues.
Main duties of the job
The Assistant Practitioner will manage a small defined caseload of patients under the supervision of the CNS and ensure effective communication with patients, carers, multidisciplinary team and the wider health and social care community. They will work proactively as a member of the multi disciplinary.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
