Job Description

Join a collaborative and forward-thinking investment team as a Quantitative Developer - Assistant Portfolio Manager.

This role offers the opportunity to help the Rates & Inflation team generate alpha by streamlining portfolio management processes. You will develop and maintain systems for managing portfolios and support Senior Portfolio Managers and Strategists in developing macroeconomic views.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining systems for monitoring and trading interest rate and inflation risk
  • Supporting portfolio implementation through active view execution and rebalancing
  • Monitoring fund performance and recommending strategy improvements
  • Researching and developing analytical tools for market trend and portfolio performance assessment
  • Enhancing investment decisions with risk analysis and quantitative models
  • Automating complex tasks using coding expertise with diverse data sources
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, risk, and ESG standards
  • Fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and client focus
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Strong Python coding skills
  • Deep understanding of fixed income mathematics
  • Experience with statistical analysis of large datasets
  • Background in financial modelling and automation
  • Knowledge of global macroeconomic trends and their investment implications
  • Experience in fixed income markets and instruments
  • High standards of conduct, integrity, and continuous improvement
  • Degree qualification; CFA or similar credentials are advantageous
