Qualifications

About the Role

As an Assistant Town Planner, you will support the planning team in delivering a range of exciting projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes. Working closely with senior planners and clients, you will gain valuable experience while contributing to sustainable development and positive change within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
  • Conduct research and site appraisals to support planning decisions
  • Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients
  • Monitor planning policy and development trends
  • Help prepare planning statements, design and access statements, and policy appraisals
About You
  • Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited)
  • Working towards or keen to start your RTPI accreditation
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Familiarity with Welsh planning policy is an advantage, but not essential
