Job summary

Gold Group Ltd. seeks an Assistant Planner for an on-site role on a flagship £200m London project. You will support the Senior Planner in developing, managing and monitoring detailed programmes from day one and gain hands-on experience on a major commercial build in the heart of London.

You will work closely with the site team to gather progress data, attend progress meetings and help deliver accurate schedules. This is a great chance to build your planning career with a leading contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience working for a UK building main contractor.
• Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
• Exposure to construction planning duties on site or in pre-construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes.
• Assist with progress updates, reporting and look-ahead schedules.
• Gather progress information from the site team and identify delays.
• Help prepare short-term and long-term programmes under guidance of the Senior Planner.
• Attend site progress meetings and liaise with project managers, engineers and subcontractors.
• Use Asta Powerproject to build and update project schedules.

Salary: up to £60,000 + car allowance + travel + package

Are you an ambitious Assistant Planner with a background in UK main contracting? Want to work on one of London's most exciting commercial projects? This is your chance to support a highly experienced Senior Planner on a £200m landmark new build scheme in the heart of London.

This role offers fantastic exposure to a major project from day one - with hands-on involvement in programme development, progress monitoring, and project reporting, alongside one of the most respected planning professionals in the industry.

The Role

As Assistant Planner, you’ll be based on-site and work closely with the Senior Planner to develop, manage, and monitor project programmes. You’ll gain invaluable experience on a large, complex scheme, learning the ins and outs of delivering a flagship project.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in developing and maintaining detailed construction programmes
• Assist with progress updates, reporting and look-ahead schedules
