We are looking for an Assistant Planner to join our Building team based on a high profile commercial project in the heart of Cambridge.

The successful candidate will support the development, maintenance, and updates of the project programme, ensuring it accurately reflects time risks and builds trust with both the project team and the customer.

What you'll do

  • Supporting Progress Monitoring – Gathering information from subcontractors and the project team to track progress.
  • Updating programmes – Using Asta Powerproject, update programmes to accurately reflect the project plan.
  • Project reporting – Help to ensure the programme is updated weekly to show the true position of the project.
  • Short term planning – Support the project team by attending and helping to facilitate Collaborative Planner sessions.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Basic understanding of the project planning and construction processes
  • Familiarity with project planning software (Asta Powerproject would be desirable)
  • Comfortable using standard software tools (e.g., MS Office) for reporting and data tracking.
  • HNC or equivalent in relevant construction / engineering subject (desirable)
