About the role
  • Assist the Planning Manager, Senior Planner and Project Managers in the production and updating of construction programmes and weekly dashboard reports.
  • Support site teams with the production of medium and short term programmes.
  • Incorporate labour and cost elements into the construction programmes where required.
  • Travel to sites to liaise with site teams and assist in the production of progress reports for live projects.
  • Carry out independent checks on site progress when required.
  • Assist in the production of pre-tender, pre-construction, design management and procurement programmes, working closely with other members of the pre-construction team.
  • Liaise with estimating and operations staff to ensure that correct outputs are being utilised in formulating programmes and that the best advantage is taken.
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders/bids and demonstrate through graphic and visual aids/software how the project will be delivered.
  • Ensure operations teams are briefed on the delivery methodology when a project is awarded.
  • Contribute to the formal handover process and attend handover meetings.
  • Where required, attend and contribute to meetings held during the pre-construction phase of a project.
  • Compliance - ensure that all operational activities are planned in compliance with the Robertson Management System (RMS) and external legislation governing business operations.
