Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years' experience in personal and capital gains tax.
  • Familiarity with inheritance tax, trusts, ATED returns, and P11D forms desirable.

Job description

Role: Assistant Personal Tax Manager
Location: Brighton
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 with a 1-hour lunch break)

Minimum 30 hours / 4 days per week considered

Pay: From From 44,000 per annum, depending on experience

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Personal Tax Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a dynamic and expanding accountancy practice, in their Brighton office.

The Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Minimum of two years' experience in personal and capital gains tax
  • Familiarity with inheritance tax, trusts, ATED returns and P11D forms is desirable
  • Demonstrates strong technical and professional knowledge
  • Proven ability to review accounts and meet performance targets
  • Comfortable with networking and developing new business
  • Tech-savvy, ideally experienced with IRIS and Xero
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK
