About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate delivery of payroll for a busy and dynamic workforce. You'll be hands-on with the day-to-day processing and fully capable of stepping in during the Payroll Manager's absence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for weekly and monthly payrolls
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, pensions, statutory payments, and deductions
  • Support with audits, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Act as a point of contact for payroll queries from employees and external bodies
  • Deputise for the Payroll Manager during absence - confident in leading the payroll function when required
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other departments


What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years of payroll experience
  • Experience in a start-to-finish payroll environment
  • Strong working knowledge of UK payroll legislation
  • High attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills
  • A team player who's proactive and eager to take on new challenges
