Job Description

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Pastry Chef to join our Executive Pastry Chef to help lead the Pastry & Afternoon Tea Team.

A little more about what you will be doing:

  • To ensure the smooth running of the Pastry Department, ensuring that all areas are maintained to Fairmont St Andrews standards.
  • Together with the Executive Pastry Chef to supervise and coordinate the training of other pastry staff.
  • To be able to motivate staff.
  • To cook any food on a daily basis according to business requirements.
  • To write and check standard recipes for all dishes to ensure proper portion control, uniformity of taste and quality for approval of the Executive Chef.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar role is a must and experience in a five-star hotel would bepreferential
  • Must be eligible tolive and work in the UK
