CHS South is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Pastoral Leader to provide essential support and guidance to students. This role entails addressing pastoral and welfare issues, collaborating with staff to create a positive learning environment, and helping students achieve their potential. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Pastoral Leader to join our fantastic team at CHS South.
This is a Grade 4, permanent post working 35 hours per week, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The full time equivalent salary is £25,584. The pro-rata salary is £22,005.
We’re looking for:
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with or caring for children of a relevant age. They should demonstrate an understanding of the role of support staff and other professionals who work to help students reach their potential. They should establish and maintain a high profile across the school using a range of proactive strategies to support positive behaviour and implement effective sanctions as appropriate, and be able to provide feedback to pupils in relation to progress, achievement, behaviour, attendance and welfare.
Main purpose of the job:
