Job summary

Greenstead Evangelical Free Church in Colchester is seeking a full-time Assistant Pastor to help proclaim Jesus, disciple believers and reach the city with the gospel.

The role focuses on discipling individuals, supporting the Pastor, and building a culture of discipleship across the church, with involvement in preaching, service leading and ministry teams, as well as evangelism and Life Groups.

Qualifications

• Must be a spiritually mature Christian man aligned with GEFC beliefs.
• Gifted in expository preaching and pastoral ministry.
• Relates well across cultures and backgrounds and is eager to serve in a collaborative team.

Assistant Pastor

Greenstead Evangelical Free Church (GEFC) is a diverse and growing church on the edge of Colchester. God has brought many newcomers and new believers to us, and we are committed to making disciples who make disciples in our local community and across the city.
We are seeking a full time Assistant Pastor to help us proclaim Jesus, disciple believers, and reach our city with the gospel.
About the Role:
The Assistant Pastor will share in the overall pastoral ministry of the church, with a particular focus on discipling individuals and helping believers grow in Christian maturity. They will take a lead in some areas and support the Pastor in others, depending on gifting and experience.
