Kennedys is looking for a Assistant Partnership Tax Manager to join our Tax team based in London. The Assistant Partnership Tax Manager will work as part of the Tax team, to provide a proactive reporting and support service to the Firm.

Team

Kennedys Finance team support the Firm globally producing timely and accurate financial and management information, reporting solutions and operational support to maintain the high standard of service offered to the Firm's internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the completion of all tax compliance obligations in the UK and internationally including income and corporation tax computations and returns, tax provisioning, VAT, tax relief claims and tax payments
  • Liaise with relevant tax authorities in relation to partner and entity taxes
  • Assist with the preparation and calculations of tax payments
  • Assist/review partners' tax reserves, including DTR and equalisation
  • Support the firm's cash flow forecasting related to tax payments.

Required experience

  • Preparation of partnership tax computations;
  • Preparation of personal tax returns
  • Preparation of corporate tax returns desirable
  • CTA/ATT/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience
  • Previous tax experience in a professional practice environment desirable
  • Previous VAT compliance experience desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and discipline in managing your own workload
  • Strong understanding and practical use of Excel
