About the Role

You will have a variety of responsibilities ranging from ensuring all work is carried out and completed with full awareness of Health & Safety policies, managing maintenance schedules, assisting in the development of packing plans to optimise technology, and helping the Packhouse Manager recruit and manage the wider team.

You will work closely with the Packhouse Manager to ensure that the Packhouse operates at maximum effectiveness. This includes organizing and scheduling production, shifts, and staffing levels throughout the business.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience within Packhouse or Production, preferably with experience with fresh produce or Food
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to identify and solve problems
• Awareness of Health & Safety, Food Safety & BRC regulations
• Flexibility and willingness to work in a busy environment, with a proactive approach
