An established industry player is seeking a Site/Section Engineer to join their Major Projects team in London. This role involves supporting the Package Manager in the delivery of fit-out works at the iconic Old Oak Common development. Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Site/Section Engineer (Assistant Package Manager) to join our Major Projects team at the iconic Old Oak Common development in London.
HS2's new c. £1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UK's best-connected rail station upon completion. Our joint venture, Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA, will be responsible for the design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London.
The station will feature six underground platforms and up to eight on the adjacent Great Western Main Line, providing high-speed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. It will also include passenger and retail facilities to enhance the customer experience.

HS2’s station construction partner, Balfour Beatty VINCI Systra joint venture (BBVS), is leading the construction of the new Old Oak Common Station. Set to be the most connected and largest railway station ever built in the UK, it will feature 14 platforms, including six high-speed and eight conventional service platforms, with an 850m-long station box. Expected to be one of the busiest stations in the country, it will serve high-speed rail to the Midlands, Scotland, the North, and provide access to central London and Heathrow via the Crossrail Elizabeth Line.
