Pay Range

USD $93,000.00 - USD $106,500.00 /Yr.

Overview

The Computer Science Department at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We are a small department where faculty are passionate about both teaching and research. We seek candidates with expertise in any area of computer science, particularly in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

Department faculty have research expertise in artificial intelligence, robotics, computer systems, cybersecurity, algorithmic accountability, theoretical computer science, and quantum computing. Their research has been supported by NSF, the Office of Naval Research, and the National Security Agency, among others.

Responsibilities
  1. Teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate computer science courses.
  2. Develop and sustain a research program.
  3. Advise and mentor both undergraduate and graduate students.
  4. Provide service to the Department, University, and Profession.
Qualifications

Minimum: A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field by the start date. A publication record and the strong potential to secure external funding.

Preferred: Teaching experience.
