Hours: 40 hours, Monday–Friday
Salary: £28,000-£30,000
Reporting to: Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within LSC for a highly organised and people-focused Assistant Operations Manager. You'll be supporting the regional Operations Manager to lead and grow our partnerships across a cluster of primary schools, managing a team of subject specialists and ensuring delivery excellence every day.

LSC is a nationwide team of primary education experts, delivering PPA cover in PE, MFL, Drama, Music, Art and wraparound care in over 250 schools. Our 300+ practitioners are trusted by headteachers and families alike—and this role is key to keeping our standards sky-high.

The Role…

You’ll be responsible for the operational success of a defined cluster of partner schools. This includes managing a team of educators, maintaining strong school relationships, and ensuring delivery is smooth, professional and impactful.

You’ll also support recruitment, training, and quality assurance, and work alongside the Operations Manager to help drive regional performance.

What you will be doing …

Manage the day-to-day operations across a group of partner schools

Line-manage and support a team of teachers and coaches, ensuring exceptional delivery

Organise and manage school cover with speed and accuracy

Maintain excellent communication with schools, acting as their go-to contact

Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development in your area

Monitor performance and quality, keeping systems and records up to date

Troubleshoot staffing or delivery issues to ensure seamless service

Support internal reporting and feedback loops to the wider leadership team
