Job summary

Olleco is recruiting an Assistant Operations Manager for our Midlands West depot in Cannock. You will support drivers, help run the depot efficiently and drive safety and environmental goals at the site.

Key responsibilities include driver training, inductions, compliance checks and accurate paperwork in a role that supports our mission to protect the planet and sustain operations with a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely certification or willingness to acquire it.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in working in a transport or logistics role.
• High level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide support, training and assistance to Olleco drivers.
• Contribute to the smooth running of our Midlands West depot.
• Focus on health & safety, safety procedures, compliance, maintenance, training, administration and rounds.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed by drivers and report any damage or defects.
• Support induction training, training evaluations and refresher training as required.
• Ensure working time checks, DQC and government licence checks are carried out.
• Complete all paperwork and IT systems for your work and that of the drivers.

Assistant Operations Manager

£30,000 per Annum, Plus Pension, BUPA Medical Cash Plan, Life Assurance, 22 Days Holiday (rising with service)
